Certificate of Authenticity

At Art & Co. by MCH, we understand the importance of authenticity when it comes to purchasing art.

One of the most essential documents that should be included in the event of an art sale is a certificate of authenticity (COA).

A COA is an official document that proves that the artist's work is genuine and authentic.

It is a helpful tool in proving a work's provenance, quality, and ensures the buyer that it is produced originally by the artist, regulated and supervised by Art & Co. by MCH.

In today's digital world, where forgery is unfortunately quite common, this document aids in preventing counterfeiting.

Because we live in a digital world where forgery is unfortunately rather commonplace, this document aids in preventing counterfeit.

Nowadays, it is essential to avoid as much risk as possible in selling Art and the COA is a form of risk prevention, securing the client's investment, and providing the origin of the artwork and its entire production details.

The COA also ensures a successful and smooth resale of your art between yourself and a future buyer, securing your investment. As we professionally predict that our artworks will increase their value, a COA acts as a physical document that tracks their provenance, thus proving an increase in value.

The COA will provide important details on the artwork, such as the artist's data, year of completion, dimension, materials used/art medium, special instructions, artwork image, and statement of authenticity, embossed and signed with our unique wax stamp certifying its originality.

It is important to note that we do not reveal our COA online in order to avoid forgery and people trying to pretend certain works are part of our exclusive Art & Co. gallery's collection. We only provide our COA to the rightful owner of the artwork, in person, at the time of purchase, ensuring the authenticity of the artwork and the protection of our client's investment.
