By carefully gauging the density of the world through his own senses, Daniel is able to channel that information into sculptures that convey powerful stories through the use of universal symbols. With a solid academic background in sculpture and over two decades of artistic experience, during which he has honed his technique, he selects themes and symbols such as light and shadow, and geometric shapes that transcend borders and communicate in a language that is understood by all cultures. He is meticulous in his choice of materials, using them to construct wings of stillness that can withstand the weight and measurement of light's density, contrasts, and volumes.
Daniel embodies the archetype of the masculine presence, his approach is grounded and direct, yet he also possesses an abstract vision that allows him to delve deep into the natural elements such as wood, metal, gold, and others, uncovering their true essence that may not be immediately apparent to the casual observer. His sculptures are like three-dimensional mirrors to the spatial reality, they not only reflect the world but also reveal the grace and beauty that lies beneath the surface of the ordinary.
